In the original band saw heat treatment production line of Dalian Special Steel Products Co., LTD., there are product problems such as large temperature difference of furnace body, short tempering process time limited by equipment, insufficient tempering, resulting in uneven hardness and large fluctuation of performance of band saw. After more than a month of intense installation, several times of process debugging and verification, the first plate of heat-treated band saw was successfully off the production line. After performance inspection, the physical product standard met the requirements set by the process. After multiple follow-up inspection, the stability of the band saw product remained good, and the temperature difference of tooth tip could be controlled within the range of ±5HV.
Through the upgrade and transformation of the band saw heat treatment line, firstly, it can improve the hardness difference of the teeth of the band saw, improve the fatigue performance index of the back material of the band saw, thus improve the service life of the band saw blade, increase the sawing area by more than 20%, and greatly increase the market competitiveness of the company's band saw products. Second, the production line capacity has been fully improved, the newly upgraded band saw heat treatment line capacity will reach 2 times of the original production line, laying the foundation for the company's large-scale development; Third, the nitrogen consumption of the band saw heat treatment line after upgrading can be reduced by 60%, and the cost reduction effect is obvious, with the annual cost reduction amount reaching more than 120,000 yuan.
